When discussing the idea of travel insurance, there are a lot of questions in regards to why should they get coverage and what exactly is covered. I have compared travel insurance with Aflac, where travel insurance can cover areas that your other insurance (primarily medical) won’t cover when you are on vacation. Common belief is that travel insurance only covers if your trip is cancelled. That is partly true, however, there are medical coverages that help you when your worst nightmare occurs and you are in a hospital. When going overseas, definitely consider travel insurance.
