The Family Quest
Helping families find their next vacation destination
Dealing with uncontrollable events
The other day, a client was heading home and their mid morning flight was delayed and it wasn’t until 7:56 PM that they boarded the plane. This was a great example that on vacations, not everything goes as planned and when dealing with flights, you have no control over the situation. These issues can quickly ruin a vacation’s “feels”, but the simple advice is that these are not within your area of control, so stressing about them is not worth your time. Easier said than done, of course, but take a breath and focus on what you can control, your attitude towards these and other situations.
